The Director, Digital Commerce & Marketing Technology for the Access segment leads the vision, strategy, and execution of digital platforms that power customer engagement, sales enablement, and business growth. This role oversees eCommerce, marketing websites, and CRM systems for brands including JLG, Jerr‑Dan, and affiliated Access companies—driving seamless, data‑informed, customer‑centric digital experiences.

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Digital Technology, this leader will work cross‑functionally with Sales, DT, Project Management, and Global Marketing teams to advance Oshkosh’s digital transformation and ensure that every customer, dealer, and partner interaction strengthens the brand and supports long‑term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the eCommerce and digital technology sales strategy, including online parts ordering, dealer portals, and self‑service capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and DT to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and integration between ERP and CRM systems.
  • Champion digital customer journeys—from product research through purchase and post‑sale support—delivering measurable business value.
  • Use data analytics to identify opportunities for improving online sales conversion, lead capture, and customer retention.
  • Lead the ongoing enhancement of brand websites (e.g., , ) to reflect brand positioning, showcase innovation, and drive quality leads.
  • Oversee site performance, technology selection and adoption, and global localization efforts.
  • Ensure sites comply with Oshkosh brand standards, accessibility requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Integrate digital campaigns, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools to optimize traffic and engagement.
  • Own the strategy and governance for the Access CRM ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce) to improve visibility into customer relationships, sales pipelines, and marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to define data‑driven lead management, account segmentation, and reporting practices.
  • Drive marketing automation initiatives that enhance dealer communications, nurture campaigns, and digital engagement.
  • Partner with DT and Corporate Digital teams to ensure data accuracy, system interoperability, and adherence to enterprise architecture.
  • Lead a high‑performing digital team across development, release management, production support, and customer experience functions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver world‑class digital solutions.
  • Establish governance frameworks for digital assets, content, and customer data management.
  • Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and performance metrics for all digital initiatives.
  • Serve as the digital thought leader within the Access segment, driving innovation that supports Oshkosh’s mission of “making a difference in people’s lives.”
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital commerce, marketing technology, or CRM leadership roles, preferably in a B2B or industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading digital transformation or eCommerce initiatives in a global organization.
  • Deep expertise with platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Commerce, Sitecore, and Google tools (or similar).
