Lab Vantage LIMS Technical Manager – (Perm) – Hybrid (3 day/wk) – Frederick, MD

Pharmaceutical organization seeks a Lab Vantage LIMS Manager with technical hands‑on expertise in Java and Lab Vantage v8.4 or higher. Ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years working in this capacity and a history of working with FDA, ISO 13485, and medical devices. Expertise in Lab Vantage processes such as sample management, stability, batch release, and lab execution is also required.

The individual will lead the management, configuration, and optimization of LIMS, while working closely with QA, QC, stability and other teams to ensure LIMS operational efficiency and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or related fields.
• Must be a Maryland resident; relocation is not offered.
• 5 to 10 years experience with Lab Vantage v8.4+ and hands‑on Java development, and a history of working with FDA, ISO 13485 and medical devices.
• AI experience and Lab Vantage certification are a plus.

• Lead the management, configuration, and optimization of Lab Vantage v8.7.
• Ensure IT supports the business needs for Lab Vantage LIMS across R&D, QC, manufacturing, and clinical laboratories, working closely with QA, QC, stability, and other teams to maintain efficiency and compliance.
• Deploy patches and release updates while coordinating cross‑functionally.
• Create, revise, and approve SOPs and reports within GMP, FDA, EU, global and ICH guidelines.
• Triage and evaluate site change requests, assess global impact, and prioritize accordingly.
• Assist sites in identifying master data elements for Lab Vantage deployment.
• Ensure Lab Vantage processes meet data integrity and GMP standards while promoting global process adoption.
• Collaborate with department managers to define and report KPIs for deployment progress.
• Perform advanced computer tasks, including technical Lab Vantage development.
• Lead high‑stakes engagements requiring extreme coordination and rapid decision-making, involving systems and some AI.
• Base compensation ideal $120K–$160K depending on experience.
• 10% annual performance‑based bonus combining individual and organizational performance.
