We’re looking for a versatile and resourceful technical professional who enjoys solving problems across both hardware and software. This hybrid role combines PC troubleshooting and setup, day-to-day IT support, and web/application development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide first-line PC triage, troubleshooting, and system setup for new and existing users
- Configure workstations, install software, and assist with basic networking tasks
- Support users with technical issues in a clear, patient, and solution-oriented manner
- Develop and maintain websites, internal tools, and small applications
- Assist with client/server programming tasks and database-driven systems
- Collaborate on technical projects, documentation, and process improvements
- Help streamline workflows and identify opportunities for automation
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and confidence diagnosing PC issues
- Experience with Windows environments, system setup, and common IT tools
- Working knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL Server) and basic client/server concepts
- Ability to switch between IT support tasks and development work as needed
- Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
- A self-starter mindset - you enjoy figuring things out
- Familiarity with vb Script, classic ASP, or VBA
- Scripting or automation experience (Power Shell, Python)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Prior helpdesk or MSP experience
