CDIT Solutions IS seeking a Senior System Administrator / Dev Ops Engineer with deep Linux and Kubernetes experience to support a high-visibility IC-wide mission environment.
The role is part of a software development and engineering effort focused onproductizing an operational system for broader deployment.
The successful candidate will own day-to-day administration of CentOS/RHEL and Kubernetes-based environments, apply container fundamentals and Dev Ops practices, and contribute to a team supporting the full daily service window.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain Linux systems (CentOS/RHEL) ina production mission environment.
- Operate and support Kubernetes-based environments,including tooling and container fundamentals.
- Apply Dev Ops and automation practices to streamlinedeployment, configuration, and operations.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering teams onprovisioning, scaling, availability, and resiliency.
- Support security compliance activities and participate in troubleshooting across the stack.
- Participate in the team's rotating coverage model to maintain 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM availability.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph(FSP).
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator / Engineer.
- Demonstrated Kubernetes (K8s) experience, including tooling and container fundamentals.
- Proficiency with BASH scripting.
- Experience with High Side / Classified networking environments.
- Automation and configuration management tooling:
Python, Ansible, Salt. - Agile and Dev Ops methodologies.
- Key management and encryption technologies.
- Supporting experience in storage, networking, securitycompliance, authentication, and physical server administration.
- Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level(candidates not currently at SYS3 will need to put in for it).
