- Change Committee Participation & Supply Chain Advocacy:
Serve as an active core member and stakeholder on project change committees—partnering with the Program Manager and committee leads—to review, evaluate, and disposition ECRs, ECOs, and ECNs through a supply chain and inventory lens. - Cross-Functional Communication Bridge:
Function as the primary supply chain operational liaison connecting the Director of Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Design Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, procurement, and manufacturing plants. - Schedule Shift & Substitution Execution:
Manage change workflows when responding to shifting schedules, priority changes, and supply chain constraints that warrant material substitutions and adjustments. - Material Disposition & SAP Accountability:
Provide precise direction on material re-assignment, substitution, and the repurposing of materials already pulled from stock under existing production orders, ensuring strict material accountability and inventory integrity within SAP. - Documentation & Strategic Reporting:
Maintain meeting logs. Track change implementation metrics and backlogs to report status and escalation risks upward to the Director of Supply Chain. - Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Provide robust leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to your direct report(s) and project team members on key project procedures, SAP practices, risk mitigation, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
