Our client, a reputable moving and relocation services provider, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and moving operations. This role is critical to ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high safety standards, and driving process improvements within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, equipment storage, and logistics coordination.
Dispatch Coordination: Assist in planning and executing daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Team Leadership: Lead and train warehouse and moving staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies, including conducting safety training and audits.
Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to address and resolve client issues or claims promptly.
Equipment Management: Coordinate rental equipment setup and maintenance as required.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase operational efficiency and service quality.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on operational performance and key metrics.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within warehouse or moving operations.
Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications: Valid Class A or B CDL driver’s license preferred; forklift certification required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with logistics management software is a plus.
