Assistant Community Manager

$25-28/hour, monthly renewal bonus, occupancy bonus, leasing commissions in the amount of $100/lease, and benefits.

Type: Full Time

Minimum Experience: Two years of property management experience is required.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Assistant Property Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute a marketing and leasing strategy at the community to achieve leasing goals and budgeted occupancy.
  • Lead leasing team: assist in hiring, set goals, monitor performance, coach, counsel, and recommend training as needed.
  • Oversee and lead consistent collections efforts to achieve minimum outstanding delinquency.
  • Oversee all stages of resident lease cycle including application approvals, move-ins, renewals, and move-out processes, providing resolutions to any resident opportunities that arise.
  • Support Community Director in administrative, oversight and financial tasks as requested.
  • Ensuring the successful execution of all company operations policies and procedures.
  • Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.

  • Be dependable, reliable and follow through on commitments, producing timely work to required or higher standard.
  • Be attentive to detail and monitoring adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Positive, 'can-do' attitude, professionalism, and a high level of enthusiasm and ownership
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Experience with property management software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
