Wood Shop Worker

Overview

Prepare skids, crates, and wood components for shipping. Work in the Wood Shop or on the shop floor performing duties in a reasonable and productive time frame.

• Preparation of skids, crates, and wood components for shipping, production, and other areas as needed.
• Work in the Wood Shop or on the shop floor by performing duties in a reasonable and productive time frame.

• Read a tape measure to 1/8 inch.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Cut, measure, and build skids and crates with minimal instructions or supervision.
• Use power tools (e.g., chop saw, circular saw, drill).
• Use various hand tools (e.g., square, hammer, pliers).
• Use pneumatic tools (e.g., nail gun, staple gun, air ratchet).
• Other duties as assigned.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
