Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Technician.

Job Summary:

• The Material Handlers follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in daily activities.
• Performs receiving, picking, shipping, equipment monitoring and material control. Revises SOPs. Initiates and completes deviations, as required. Provides leadership to other team members.

• Material Handler I: (Primary responsibilities, but these individuals could also take on some Material Handler II and III responsibilities, which can be seen below).
• Picks for production at FMC.
• Picks / delivery for production at GPF.
• General supply maintenance.
• Non-GMP receiving.
• Non-GMP deliveries.
• Paper/Fed Ex supplies in admin area.
• Routine cleaning.
• Material handling equipment / fleet maintenance.
• Non-GMP and GMP material shipments (excluding hazmat).
• Management of LN2 cylinders.
• Cycle counts.
• Train others on appropriate tasks/systems.
• Coordination of receiving dock.
• Support OE/6S mindset.

• Driver's license required.
• Forklift certification a plus.

• Ability to prioritize work requirements must be well organized and able to manage time efficiently and must have a strong sense of responsibility.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, EXCEL and Word a plus.
• Experience using SAP a plus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
