This project will focus on creating communications campaigns and building strategic partnerships for Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA), strengthening TMA's communications practices, and sustaining TMA VISTA alums' engagement with TMA's work. The project will strengthen the relationships with and among TMA VISTA Alums, provide education and economic opportunity by linking higher education institutions to the Schools for National Service program, and enhance TMA’s communication strategies and strategic partnerships moving forward.
MemberDuties
The TMA’s Communications and Strategic Partnerships Coordinator VISTA Member will maintain a communications and website presence tailored towards highlighting TMA Ameri Corps VISTA Alumni and individuals participating in TMA's other programs which will connect TMA’s anti-poverty community engagement mission with the VISTA Alums' ongoing work in the region. The VISTA member will also create a strategic communications campaign to engage more regional higher education institutions to participate in Schools for National Service, and provide other support for TMA's communications and partnerships.
