Urgent Care Provider Residency Program - Nurse Practitioners / Physician Assistants - January 2026 Class

Patriot Urgent Care is a leading urgent care operator in Maryland. Our mission is to provide the perfect patient experience.

Residency Program Highlights
  • Three‑month paid residency, $15,000 salary (then full salary).
  • Extensive one‑on‑one training with NP, PA, or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions with hands‑on training for procedures.
  • Complete the program curriculum covering EKGs, heart murmurs, X‑ray interpretation, occupational medicine, injections, and test ordering.
  • Perform procedures: suturing, incision & drainage, digital block, nail procedures, pelvic exam, and eye exams.
  • Shadow medical leadership, achieve proficiency in EMR and the new provider training guide.
  • Graduate by meeting hours, DOT certification, coding exam, and residency certification exam.
Qualifications
  • Graduated NP or PA, or new‑grad.
  • No prior urgent care or primary care training required.
  • Detail oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and confidentiality.
  • Committed to 40 hrs/week for 3 months.

Compensation
