American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.
Details- Labor & Delivery Unit providing obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
- Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
- Recently expanded with five new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring modern equipment and technology
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Rotating holidays and weekends required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Patient ratio of 1:1-2
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
- OB Triage experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial start date)
- BLS and NRP certification required
- ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- Meditech charting experience preferred
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections
- Proof of residency must match candidate's licensure
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care including circulating for C-sections
- Work in a smoke-free facility environment
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule and equal pay rate
- RTO must be submitted with application and will be reviewed on a per-case basis
