American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with prior travel nursing experience and OB triage expertise for a night shift assignment requiring an active MD or compact RN license.
Details- Labor & Delivery Unit providing comprehensive obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
- Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
- Five newly renovated Labor & Delivery rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
- Rotating holidays and weekends required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Patient ratio of 1:1-2
- Meditech charting system preferred
- Active MD RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- OB Triage experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- C-EFM certification (through NCC or AWHONN) required, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted with C-EFM required if contract extends to 1 year or more
- ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications preferred
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections
- Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care across labor, delivery, triage, and postpartum phases
- Must work two of the three winter holidays
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Smoke-free facility
- No radius rule for this facility; rates are the same for local travelers
- RTO requests reviewed and approved on a per-case basis
