Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Frederick, MD | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Rotating holidays and weekends | Block scheduling is not available

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Deliver skilled care across Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings using established clinical protocols
• Support family-centered care in a modern, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery environment
• Complete required facility onboarding modules via online portal prior to start date

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted, however C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date
• Local travelers are welcome; rates are the same regardless of proximity to the facility

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit with dedicated triage and operating room components
• Familiarity with family-centered care models and modern obstetric technology
• Adaptability to rotating holiday and weekend schedules in a fast-paced environment

• Work in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit featuring brand-new rooms equipped with modern technology designed for comfort, safety, and exceptional patient care
• Located in Frederick, MD — a vibrant historic city with scenic mountain views, a thriving downtown, and easy access to both Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
