Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Frederick, MD | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Rotating Holidays & Weekends | Onsite

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Deliver patient care across Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Perform and interpret continuous electronic fetal monitoring in accordance with unit standards
• Support family-centered care in a modern, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery environment
• Complete required facility onboarding modules via the Net Learning online portal prior to start date

• Minimum 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred; AWHONN Intermediate accepted, however C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date
• Local travelers are welcome; rates are the same regardless of proximity to the facility

• C-EFM certification at time of submission
• Experience working in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit with OB OR and OB PACU exposure
• Familiarity with Net Learning or similar online compliance/module platforms

• Work in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit equipped with modern technology and designed with patient comfort and family-centered care in mind
