American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with 3+ years of L&D experience and OB Triage experience for a night shift travel assignment.

• Labor & Delivery Unit providing comprehensive obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
• Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
• Recently expanded with five new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Rotating holidays and weekends required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Meditech charting system experience preferred

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and NRP certification required
• C-EFM certification preferred (through NCC or AWHONN); AWHONN Intermediate accepted if C-EFM obtained for contract extensions reaching 1 year or more
• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications preferred
• Experience with Labor and Delivery Management and circulating for C-sections required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Proof of residency must match candidate's licensure

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and labor support within a family-centered care environment
• Smoke-free facility
• Strict attendance policy with no grace period for tardiness
• RTO requests reviewed and approved on a per-case basis
• Pre-start online training modules required, averaging 4-5 hours, to be completed no later than 1 week prior to start
• No radius rule for this facility, with equal rates for local travelers
• Located in Frederick, Maryland, close to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., offering scenic views and a vibrant downtown
