Position

As an NGS Specialist at Alithea Genomics, you will be instrumental in our RNA‑seq service and sequencing teams, where precision, accuracy, and quality are paramount. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting‑edge NGS technologies, ensuring the reliability of our products and services, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute RNA‑seq library preparation protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and NGS instruments.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks of sequencing libraries and manufactured kits.
• Collaborate closely with team members to meet service targets and ensure quality.
• Document experimental procedures and results, write and revise the SOPs.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with general molecular biology methods and work skills in NGS library preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with NGS sequencing platforms and associated software is a strong plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to scientific excellence.
• Previous experience in a genomics research or manufacturing laboratory is strongly preferred.
