We are hiring immediately for full‑time Cook positions at Eurest in Frederick, MD (7902 Fingerboard Road). Online applications only.

Location:

Frederick, MD.

Schedule:

Full time, five days per week with rotating weekends. Pay range: $19.00–$24.00 per hour.

Requirements:
Prior cooking experience required.

Prepares food in accordance with federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensures high quality food service at all times.

• Prepares high‑quality food items following standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares them for delivery, ensuring correct portions, temperatures, and presentation.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and records area activity.
• Cleans the kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness; stores or discards excess food per safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record‑keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Performs job safely while keeping a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to safety for self and others.
• Abides by all company policies, including:
  • Use of medium‑weight cut gloves for handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or slicer cleaning.
  • Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans.
  • Use of slip‑resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
