This is a full-time, on-site position for a First Cook located in Arlington, VA. The First Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, following recipes and menu guidelines, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additional duties include supervising kitchen assistants, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met, and contributing to the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.

• Strong cooking skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality meals and work with varied cuisines
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen equipment maintenance
• Leadership and teamwork skills for supervising kitchen staff and fostering collaboration
• Time management, organizational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment preferred
• Ability to adapt to menu changes and follow directions
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus
