ResponsibilitiesAdhere to MK safety policies, prepare worksites, build forms, install finished concrete per specifications, operate power tools, maintain clean sites, handle materials, assist crew, communicate with owners, suppliers, and subcontractors, support compliance policies.
Essential Duties- Cooperate with internal policies to support a safe work environment.
- Perform duties related to finished concrete installation.
- Support communications and relationship building with owners, suppliers, General Contractors, subcontractors.
- Collaborate and communicate with site teams, management, and supervisory personnel.
- Comply with company operating policies and regulations.
- Abide by laws and policies promoting a harassment‑free environment.
- Respond to inquiries or requests within established policy time frames.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
In‑depth understanding of MK safety policies; basic reading, writing, grammar; basic math and analytical skills; proficiency with tools, methods, materials and equipment for placing, smoothing, finishing and curing concrete; fundamental ability to build forms; basic skills in understanding elevations; collaborative team attitude; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to different projects daily with finishing crew.
Education and Experience- High School Diploma or GED; general training focused on concrete mixing, placing, and finishing; completion of apprenticeship or journeyman experience; completion of MK Academy training for Concrete Finisher.
- Minimum 3–5 years of comparable experience.
This position is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, sitting, using hands and arms, climbing stairs, handling objects up to 80 lbs, lifting and manipulating up to 80 lbs, working at heights up to 60 ft, and crawling for distances of 50 ft. Work is performed on construction job sites with weather, material handling, and noise hazards.
Equipment & Machine Requirements- Wide variety of construction‑related machinery, equipment, and tools.
- Telephone and technology related to performance of duties.
