As a Property Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the hero behind the scenes, ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and beautiful for our residents. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities to learn, and the chance to make a lasting impact.
What You’ll Do- Handle a wide range of repairs, from plumbing and electrical work to HVAC and appliance maintenance. Complete make‑readies for incoming residents.
- Ensure the property looks its best by completing painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies with confidence and efficiency, and work a rotating on‑call schedule for emergencies.
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
- Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance concerns quickly and professionally.
- Experience:
1‑3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field. - Skills:
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Certifications are a plus. - License: A valid Driver’s License.
- Tech Savvy:
Comfortable using work‑order systems or mobile apps to track tasks. - Physical:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions. - Attitude:
Problem‑solving mindset, great attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility. - Customer Focus: A friendly and professional approach to working with residents and team members.
