Position Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment, including diesel/gas trucks, commercial mowers, and two-cycle equipment. Candidates with practical experience in these areas are highly encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Perform mechanical work on a variety of assets, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop area.
• Ensure consistent upkeep and preservation of fleet vehicles and landscaping equipment.
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication.
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on mechanical experience.
• Must possess a personal, comprehensive set of tools required to perform daily mechanical tasks efficiently and safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with diesel engines and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are preferred but not required.
