A long-established commercial truck dealership in Frederick, MD is hiring a Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks. Duties & Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment

Troubleshoot diesel engine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

Conduct vehicle inspections to support safety and environmental compliance

Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and routine service

Collaborate with fellow technicians to prioritize repairs and maintain efficient shop workflows

Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of diesel engine systems and electrical components

Familiarity with diesel diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Valid driver’s license required

Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in varying shop conditions Preferred:1+ year of experience as a Diesel Technician Previous diesel dealership experience

Commercial Driver’s License CDL #DJ1 Compensation:$25.00 – $40.00/hour, based on experience, certifications, and training
