Education and Experience Requirements:

Highschooldiploma/GED.

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and two (2) years of aviation maintenance experience or four (4) years of aviation maintenance to include two (2) years of experience working on mid/large-size aircraft required.

Position Purpose
:

Underminimalsupervision,performs inspections,maintenance,andrepairsofmoderatetoadvancedcomplexityonaircraftsystemsandstructures.

Principal Dutiesand Responsibilies :
Essential Functions:

1.Communicateasrequiredtoreceiveandunderstandworkassignments.

Performcomplexaircraftinspections,repairs,and modificationswithminimalsupervision.

2.CoordinatewithMTL,STM,andthe

Inspection

DepartmenttoensurecompliancewithinternalandFAAinspectionand documentation requirements.

ProperlycompleteCMPcards,workordersign‑offs,andotherpaperworkinatimelyandaccurate manner.

Assistasneededwithshiftturnovers.

3.Ensurethatallworkaccomplishedmeetsqualitystandardsandspecifications.

4.Properly identify(tag) customerpropertyandequipment.

Storeaircraftcomponentsandothercustomerpropertysecurelyand safely.

5.Followstandardoperatingprocedureswhenoperatinggroundsupportequipment(externalpowercarts,hydraulic mules,hydraulic lift platforms,towtugs,forklifts,compressedgascylinders,etc.)

6.Coordinate,accomplish,andassistwithaircraftmovementinhangarandrampareas.

7.Providetrainingtolessexperiencedtechnicians.

8.Protectcustomersproperty(PTP).

Additional Functions:

1.Properlycollectanddisposeofwastefuel,oil,hydraulic fluids,de‑icing fluids,andsolventrags.

Addressunsafeconditionsbeforeputtingpeopleorpropertyatrisk.

5.Usethematerialtrackingsystemtocreatepartsdemand,track squawks,andsign‑offs,andtochargelabortocorrectworkorders.
6.Insupportofaircraftcertificationandfinalphasetesting,mayincludeflighttestsonaircraftasrequired.

7.Performotherdutiesasassigned.

1.WorkingknowledgeoftheFAAregulations,process specifications,Repair Station and Quality Control manuals ,andcompanypoliciesandprocedures.

2.Abilitytoread,write,speak,andunderstandthe

English language.
