As a Cloud Software Engineer Level 2 at Independent Software, you will design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big Data Cloud applications supporting mission-critical operations. You will work with distributed computing technologies, data processing systems, and modern software development frameworks to build scalable and reliable solutions. This position requires extensive full-stack JavaScript development experience using Node.js and Type Script, along with experience supporting cloud-based data processing, information retrieval, and distributed computing environments
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex cloud-based software applications.
- Support Big Data processing, indexing, and information retrieval across distributed systems.
- Develop and integrate Java applications, RESTful services, and database interfaces.
- Implement and support Hadoop ecosystem technologies, including HDFS, HBase, Map Reduce, YARN, and Zoo Keeper.
- Develop workflows for distributed data processing and analytics.
- Troubleshoot software defects, optimize application performance, and support system integration.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, documentation, and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex cloud-based software applications.
- Develop full-stack applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and Type Script.
- Support Big Data processing, indexing, and information retrieval across distributed systems.
- Develop and integrate Java applications, RESTful services, and database interfaces.
- Implement and support Hadoop ecosystem technologies, including HDFS, HBase, Map Reduce, YARN, and Zoo Keeper.
- Develop workflows for distributed data processing and analytics.
- Troubleshoot software defects, optimize application performance, and support system integration.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, documentation, and development processes.
- Extensive full-stack JavaScript development experience, including Node.js and Type Script.
- Experience developing applications in Big Data Cloud and distributed computing environments.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented programming, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies such as HDFS, HBase, Map Reduce, YARN, or Zoo Keeper.
- Experience with information retrieval, distributed data processing, and database technologies.
- Experience working with Linux/UNIX environments.
- Strong software development, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience integrating and processing data from multiple sources and formats.
- Two (2) years of Cloud and Distributed Computing Information Retrieval experience.
- One (1) year implementing code interacting with Cloud Big Table.
- One (1) year implementing code interacting with Cloud Distributed File Systems.
- One (1) year implementing complex Map Reduce analytics.
- One (1) year implementing code interacting with Cloud Distributed Coordination Frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or…
