Iron Road Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL A Rollback Driver to support Crown stone Equipment’s Frederick, Maryland location, with additional support for the Hagerstown location as needed. This position primarily handles the safe and efficient transportation of equipment between company locations, customers, jobsites, and other designated locations. When not actively transporting equipment, this position will support Crown stone’s daily lot operations, assisting with equipment loading and unloading, preparation, cleaning, inspections, rental check-ins and check-outs, and general lot organization.

This position is intended to provide dedicated transportation support to Crown stone while also helping maintain efficient branch operations when transportation duties are not scheduled.

The CDL A Rollback Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction and agricultural equipment, primarily supporting the Frederick location while providing transportation support to the Hagerstown location as needed. This position will operate rollback trucks and other company vehicles to transport equipment between Crown stone locations, customers, jobsites, auctions, and other designated locations. The driver is responsible for properly loading, securing, transporting, and unloading equipment while following all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.

When transportation duties are not scheduled, the position will assist with daily lot operations. This includes preparing equipment for rental and sale, loading and unloading equipment, performing basic visual inspections, cleaning and detailing equipment, assisting with rental check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized lot.

• Safely operate company rollback trucks and other CDL-required vehicles to transport equipment.
• Transport equipment between Crown stone locations, customers, jobsites, auctions, and other designated locations.
• Safely load, position, secure, transport, and unload equipment and attachments.
• Use appropriate chains, binders, straps, ramps, and other securement equipment.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Ensure loads comply with applicable size, weight, securement, routing, and other DOT requirements.
