** Frederick, MD (routes across East Coast territory)

* Schedule:

** Monday - Friday (includes 2-3 overnights + rotating routes);
Full-time position (40 hours guaranteed)
** Starting Rate:** $33.51/hour

** Key Responsibilities
*** This position requires teams driving routes weekly.
* Safely operate Class A vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
* Pick up, verify, and deliver loads accurately and on time
* Load and unload a variety of cargo safely and efficiently
* Accurately complete required logs and transportation paperwork
* Inspect vehicle pre-trip and perform basic maintenance as needed
* Drive safely in all conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather
* Follow DOT regulations, schedules, and required rest periods
* Navigate routes using maps, GPS, and directions
* Provide courteous, professional service at all customer locations
* Work collaboratively in team driving assignments
* Handle and transport animals safely and humanely, including non-human primates
* Adhere to strict animal welfare standards and safe handling practices
* Perform other duties as assigned
** Qualifications & Skills
*** Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record
* Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience (5 years Preferred) (Live animal transport experience preferred)
* Successful completion of a motor vehicle record check
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively in English
* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
* Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
* Comfortable driving for extended periods
* Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
* Solid knowledge of roadways, traffic laws, and DOT regulations
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Must be comfortable working with animals of varying sizes
