Position

Summary

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused team member to support our fast-paced, hands‑on environment. This role combines the precision of warehouse work with the relationship‑building of customer service. You’ll assist customers in person, process orders, manage inventory, and ensure materials are accurately picked, packed, and stocked. As you’ll often work independently, strong time management and self‑motivation are key. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, communicates clearly, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for both internal and external customers.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Provide insightful, accurate, detailed information to customers’ questions or problems.
  • Efficiently collect requested material from the shelves, ensuring it correctly aligns with the customer’s application and order.
  • Receive incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received, inspect materials for obvious defects, solve related problems and notify supervisor as necessary.
  • Stock shelves and ensure materials are in their designated area.
  • Pull materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders. Identify correct quantity and customer specifications.
  • Utilize RF guns for picking and packing.
  • Pack and ship materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Check email and trackers daily for time-sensitive company information.
  • Post purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.
  • Complete two full cycle counts per year to maintain an accurate inventory of items and locations.
  • Involve maintaining a clean, organized area.
  • Work closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
  • Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.
Safety Sensitive Position
  • Will be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, and twist.
  • Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensuring that those around you do not put themselves or others r personal safety is your responsibility.
  • Complete an accident/incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm.
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Strong attention to detail needed.
  • Adapt to changing conditions and solve issues immediately.
  • Ability to learn our ERP system.
