The Warehouse Managerwilloverseereceiving ,storage,inventory,andtruckloadingforsheetmetalcoils,flatstock,andfabricatedparts,andkeepfieldsupervisorsinformedthemomentmaterialsarrive.

Theidealcandidateissomeoneexceptionallydetail-orientedwhocanmanageseveralpartsoftheoperationatonce,caresdeeplyaboutdoingthejobright,andshowsupeveryday.

Warehouse operations

• Overseedailywarehouseoperationsandset,monitor,andreportonoperationalgoals.
• Developwarehousesystemsforproducthandlingandstorage,equipment use,inventory,andshippingmethods.
• Keepthewarehouseorganizedsomaterialscanbelocatedandpulledquickly.

Inventory control

• Tracksheetmetalcoils,flat sheets,fabricated parts,andprojectmaterials.
• Conductregularcyclecountsandreconcilediscrepancies.
• Flaglowstockandsupportpurchasingwithaccurate,timely counts.

Shippingandreceiving

• Inspectincomingshipmentsforquantity,damage,andaccuracyagainstpurchaseorders.
• Notifymanagementandfieldsupervisionassoonasmaterialsarrive,usingacompany-providedphoneandi
  
  Pad.
• Stageandloadoutgoingorders,verifyingeveryitemisonthetruckbeforeitleaves.
  
  Misseditemsmeanextratrips,losttime,andaddedcost.

Equipment operation

• Operateforkliftsandoverheadcranestomoveheavymetalbundlessafely.
• Scheduleroutineinspectionandmaintenanceofwarehouseequipment.

Safetyandcompliance

• Maintainasafe,healthyworkplacebysettingandenforcingproceduresthatmeetOSHArequirements.
• EnforceproperPPEuseandkeepthefacilitycleanandingoodrepair.
• Reportincidentsandnearmissesandhelpcorrecthazardspromptly.

Required

• [3–5]yearsofwarehouseexperience,includingatleast[1–2]yearsinaleadorsupervisoryrole.
• Experiencehandlingheavymaterials,ideallysheetmetal,steel,orconstructionsupplies.
• Forklift certification,ortheabilitytoobtainitwithin[30]daysofhire.
• Strongorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail.
• Clear,timelycommunicationwithmanagement,field supervisors,drivers,and vendors.
• Comfortableusingasmartphone,iPad,email,andbasicinventorysoftware.
• Excellentattendanceandreliability.
• Valid driver'slicense.

Preferred

• Overheadcraneorriggingexperience.
• OSHA
  10orOSHA
  30certification.
• BackgroundinHVAC,mechanical,orconstructioncontracting.
• ExperiencewithinventorymanagementorERPsystems.

• Regularlyliftandmoveupto[50]lbs;heavierloadsaremovedwithforkliftsandcranes.
• Stand,walk,bend,andclimbforextendedperiods.
• Workinawarehousethatisnotclimate-controlled,withexposuretonoise,heat,andcold.
• WearrequiredPPE,includingsafetyboots,gloves,safety glasses,and hardhat.

Pay Range:$25-$30perhour.
