Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System is supporting recruitment for a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas, which is in the beautiful hill country and just an hour north of San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained

• Strong communication skills

• Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills

Position Profile:

• 15,000 annual volume

• Current 8-bed ED with 4 bed-expansion underway

• 24 hours daily physician coverage

• Advanced Practice Provider coverage

• Level IV Trauma

• 1099 position - up to 120 hours available

• Meditech Expanse EMR
