Job Summary: Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas, located in the scenic hill country, just an hour north of San Antonio.
Description:
- Specialization: Emergency Medicine
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
- Strong communication skills
- Expertise in evaluating and managing acute medical emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Position Profile:
- Annual volume of 15,000 patients
- Current 8-bed ED with 4-bed expansion underway
- 24-hour physician coverage
- Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- Level IV Trauma designation
- 1099 position with up to 120 hours available
- Meditech Expanse EMR system

- 84 inpatient beds
- 8 LDRPs and C-Section operative suite
- 6 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 palliative care suites
- 1 cardiac/interventional catheterization lab
