Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Substance Abuse Treatment – Fredericksburg / Hunt, TX
Pay: $35 – $42 per hour (DOE) + shift differential
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
· Rotating nights and weekends
· Schedules posted at least 1 month in advance for work-life balance
A respected inpatient drug-treatment facility in the Texas Hill Country seeks dedicated LVNs who are passionate about helping individuals achieve recovery. You’ll work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that provides holistic and evidence-based care to patients in detox and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities- Monitor vitals, withdrawal symptoms, and overall patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications and document accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
- Support RNs and providers with care planning and patient education.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and daily clinical updates.
- Encourage patients through therapeutic communication and positive reinforcement.
- Active Texas LVN license (unencumbered).
- Current BLS certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health, detox, rehab, or medical-surgical preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor and strong attention to detail.
