French Cowboys Hospitality is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Sales Manager to drive business across weddings, retreats, corporate offsites, corporate negotiated, and group bookings throughout our portfolio of historic and design-forward properties in Comfort TX. This role will focus on developing sales pipelines, nurturing new and existing client relationships, and overseeing bookings from initial outreach through post-event follow-up.
This is an onsite role in Comfort, TX selling Camp Comfort and The Meyer Hotel.
French Cowboys is a Texas-based boutique hospitality brand and management company. We design and operate beautiful escapes easily accessible from major Texas cities, inviting guests to disconnect from the city and reconnect with what matters most.
Currently, we manage 7 boutique hotels (200 rooms) across the Texas Hill Country, with plans to add 4 more hotels (~200 rooms) across Texas over the next 24 months.
Our 10-year vision is to become the leading operator of boutique hospitality in Texas, spanning hotels, restaurants, bars, concert venues, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Identify and pursue new business opportunities including weddings, social events, corporate offsites, and retreats.
- Conduct in-person property tours with clients, delivering a tailored, consultative experience while adhering to a structured sales process to guide prospects from initial interest through to successful close.
- Conduct outbound sales efforts including cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Attend and represent the brand at local networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
- Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of leads, with diligent tracking and follow-up in our CRM.
- Qualify prospective leads and craft compelling, customized proposals.
- Respond to RFPs and inbound leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Close deals and secure group bookings in alignment with property goals.
- Detail contracts and communicate all booking information clearly with internal teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients from inquiry through contract signing.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients and accounts to drive repeat business.
- Identify upselling opportunities that enhance guest experiences and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the Events team to ensure successful handoff and execution of group stays and events.
- Track and report on key metrics including bookings, conversion rates, and account growth.
- Maintain organized records of leads, proposals, contracts, and client communication.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute to quarterly business reviews.
- Ensure the precision and correctness of all sales materials and documents presented to customers.
- 2–5 years of sales experience in hospitality, event venues, or similar fields preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple sales timelines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment
- Willingness to travel to properties across the Texas Hill Country as needed
- Knowledge of the Texas weddings/events market a plus
- Ability to work weekends as needed for tours or event support.
