We are searching for a talented professional to fill a Tax Manager position with a top accounting firm in Virginia.

Summary:

This role involves managing tax engagements, mentoring junior staff, and supporting client relationships. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing complex tax work papers, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, and providing high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research and documentation skills, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Additional responsibilities include participating in business development efforts, contributing to firm visibility through speaking or writing opportunities, and maintaining an active role in community and professional organizations.

Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Meet the requirements to pursue CPA certification or other relevant certifications.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the technical aspects and issues within tax accounting in the construction/real estate industry.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, base salary plus bonus in the range of $80,.
