PRIMARY PURPOSE
Facilitate the efficient operation of the school administrative office and provide clerical services such as PEIMS data collection/entry and bookkeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education/CertificationHigh School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills- Proficient skills in typing, word processing and file maintenance
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate computer
One to three years of secretarial experience preferably in a public education environment
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESUses computer, printer, copier, and 10‑key adding machine or calculator.
WORKING CONDITIONSMental DemandsReading; ability to perform basic arithmetic; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control under stress.
Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsRepetitive hand motions and prolonged use of computer. Works with frequent interruptions. Bending, stooping, some lifting. Work days: 210.
FISD pays $365 per month towards TRS Health Insurance.
You can earn up to five local days and fivestate leave days.
