This is not an entry-level position. Only candidates who meet the required qualifications below will be considered.

This role involves operating heavy equipment for fine grading and site development tasks on commercial construction sites. Successful candidates will have experience with dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and motor graders, ensuring precise work to meet project specifications and engineered grade plans.

• Operate heavy equipment for fine and rough grading with precision, including GPS-guided work.
• Interpret and follow construction blueprints and engineered site plans.
• Maintain job site safety by adhering to procedures and policies.
• Assist with grade setting, silt fence installation, and site preparation for underground utilities and civil projects.
• Perform equipment maintenance, inspections, and keep equipment clean.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

• 5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience with a focus on fine grading and commercial sitework.
• Proficiency with various heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and motor graders for fine grading tasks.
• Understanding of grading principles, slope creation, and drainage control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineered plans, and grading specifications.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on active construction sites.

• Experience with GPS-grade control systems and civil construction technology for site development.
