Paperboys is growing and looking for a driven Junior Photographer Videographer (aka Junior Production Associate).

Your job is to assist our Lead Videographers and Lead Photographers in delivering over‑and‑above excellence to their clients. Broadly, this means filming and editing weddings and events. As a Junior Photographer Videographer, you will:

• Learn the "Paperboys Way" of shooting and editing, blazing your way through epic wedding highlight films, event films, photo galleries and other content
• Be an incredibly strong “Second Shooter” and Live Stream technician for wedding and corporate events
• Act as a Lead Shooter for lower level events, and act as a SWING Lead Shooter on wedding days. If one of us goes down (illness, injury, spontaneous combustion), you're ready to hop in!

Advancement opportunities:
This position is designed to equip the Junior Photographer Videographer with the skills and knowledge they need in order to ascend the ranks to Lead Videographer/ Lead Photographer). On average, our motivated Junior Photographer Videographer have earned promotions to this next level within 12 to 18 months of being at the company.

• This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone with foundational skills in photo/video production who is looking to grow within the wedding videography and photography industry. Without exception, any team member that has worked at Paperboys has become a stronger shooter, a more efficient editor, and a more confident director and client care professional.
• A teammate goes down, a Second Shooter drops out, a couple books last‑minute; you're ready to hop right in and save the day!
• Our work comes in waves, and during the peaks, it’s a lot! This job requires mental AND physical discipline to deliver on‑time excellence to our clients.
• Live events are not for the faint of heart. They require quick problem solving and, sometimes, being the calm in the storm for those around you.
• It’s your job to win over everyone - from the timid brides to the George friggin’ Clooney’s of the world.
• While many of our weddings are within the DC, MD, VA area, our presence continues to grow in the New Jersey, New York, Georgia and Florida markets, and so our teammates travel to these destinations 10‑15…
