You will be responsible for the following:- Provide comprehensive oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs
- Perform routine exams, preventive treatments (cleanings, fluoride, sealants), and restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, pulpotomies, extractions)
- Administer and monitor behavior management techniques, including nitrous oxide sedation, to ensure a comfortable experience for young patients
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care to promote long‑term dental health
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with parents and/or guardians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with children and their families to build trust and ease dental anxiety
- Collaborate with dental and office staff to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive patient experience
- Stay current with the latest pediatric dental technologies, techniques, and best practices through continuing education
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and ethical dental care
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
- Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry
- Virginia dental license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA certificate
- Enthusiasm to grow a new practice and provide top‑tier pediatric care
