Optometrist – Full Time – Private Practice – Fredericksburg, VA

Eyes On Eyecare is recruiting a full‑time optometrist for our private practice in Fredericksburg, VA. This role supports practice growth by establishing long‑term patient relationships, providing comprehensive eye exams, and delivering high‑quality patient education.

We are a rapidly growing community of wholly‑owned optical retail shops that practice full‑scope optometry adjacent to a well‑run dispensary. Our core mission is to improve community eye health through excellent patient care.

• Conduct thorough eye exams and maintain full scope of practice.
• Interview patients to determine medical history, ocular issues, and visual needs.
• Perform vision tests, analyze results, and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Recommend or provide treatments such as vision therapy or low‑vision rehabilitation.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
• Communicate with opticians and sales staff to recommend optimal lenses.
• Educate patients on eye care and appropriate lens options.

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
• Valid Virginia state optometry license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience ($150,000 – $160,000 per year) plus the following benefits:
