Imaging Service Engineer

Overview

The Inter Med Group is a medical equipment service company that has been meeting customers’ needs for over 20 years. Inter Med sells and services medical equipment across the country and is growing quickly. We are looking for an Imaging Field Service Engineer to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment for our accounts in the area. The role requires frequent travel and is a full‑time, benefited position.

• Maintain, inspect, and repair imaging equipment for assigned accounts.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to provide on‑site service.
• Adhere to medical facility policies and procedures while working in clinical environments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service status and recommendations.

• A.S. degree in electronics or equivalent experience and DOD certification.
• Minimum five years of experience repairing ultrasound imaging equipment; experience with multiple modalities is preferred.
• Professional experience working in medical facilities.
• Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
