Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (VA Area) – Woodbridge, VA

Opportunity with Kona Medical Consulting to provide in‑home ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Seeking individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in human services (social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or related field) and a minimum of one year teaching, training, or ABA experience. The role requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week and a willingness to work am and/or pm hours.

• Implementation of behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
• Data collection and completion of treatment notes as required.
• Independent work, daily note writing, and behavior data maintenance.
• Interaction with supervisors, caregivers, and children.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field.
• 15+ hours per week available between 8 am–7 pm.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull bend, and carry up to 50 lb.
• Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about working with children.
• Current RBT® credential in good standing with BACB® (or eligible to appear for exam).
• At least one year experience working with children.

• RBT certification (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Completed 40‑hour RBT training course and active RBT credential before starting work.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate and TB test required.

Part‑time – up to 30 hours per week. Salary $22.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Paid training.

Paid training and COVID‑guideline compliance for in‑home sessions.
