We are expanding our infrastructure management team and are looking for proven technology managers with experience in people management, strong technical understanding, and the drive and vision to take Data Center Operations to the next level. The successful candidate will have experience managing people with varying skillsets, devising strategies, mentoring people at all levels, sponsoring projects, and proposing technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
- Review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly.
- Coordinate change management resources.
- Guide, train and educate data staff on best practices related to all service owner issues.
- Manage and deliver mid-size projects.
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.
- Manage a diverse team of data technicians with varying skills.
- Provide weekly report to the data center manager.
- Maintain the on-call schedule, coordinating absences and vacations.
- Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Host weekly staff meetings.
- Write and deliver performance reviews for staff.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of networking experience and knowledge of cabling best practices.
- 3+ years of experience with hardware architectures and troubleshooting.
- 3+ years of experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
- Experience in project management.
- 1+ years of data center experience.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role.

Compensation:
Base pay ranges from $70,700/year to $158,000/year depending on geographic market. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided.
