Amazon is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and help automate and scale our network infrastructure.

• Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Work closely with Network Engineering and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and low‑level application interactions.
• Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more.
• Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
• Some regional travel may be required.
• Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
• Work safely at heights and from ladders.

• Provide the first‑level networking devices for customer racks, tracking intake and delivery, requesting rack space, power, and cooling, and coordinating with engineers for configuration.
• Participate in console builds and room builds to expand capacity for customer racks.
• Work with ‑Scaling peers to build higher‑level networking devices.

We support all AWS data centers and ensure our customers have continual access to the innovative services they rely on. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams—including software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers—to deliver the highest standards for safety, security, and cost efficiency.

Base pay ranges from $55,900 to $125,100 per year, depending on location. Total compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating system experience.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

• Can work in cramped spaces or at elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Experience handling customer issue resolution under pressure.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices.
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
