Amazon is looking for a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and help automate and scale our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
- Work closely with Network Engineering and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and low‑level application interactions.
- Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more.
- Work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.
- Some regional travel may be required.
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain.
- Work safely at heights and from ladders.
- Provide the first‑level networking devices for customer racks, tracking intake and delivery, requesting rack space, power, and cooling, and coordinating with engineers for configuration.
- Participate in console builds and room builds to expand capacity for customer racks.
- Work with ‑Scaling peers to build higher‑level networking devices.

CompensationBase pay ranges from $55,900 to $125,100 per year, depending on location. Total compensation may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
Basic Qualifications- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- 1+ years of Linux operating system experience.
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware.
- Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Can work in cramped spaces or at elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
- Experience handling customer issue resolution under pressure.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices.
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
