Position SummaryThe Project Manager leads overall project delivery for large‑scale water and wastewater construction projects. This role is ideal for an experienced manager who can oversee multiple teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and build strong client relationships while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to ACE’s high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of project delivery including client relationships, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance.
- Lead a team of Project Engineers and Co‑Ops, providing mentorship, guidance, and accountability.
- Oversee preconstruction tasks including project turnover, budgets, purchasing, and schedule development.
- Review contracts, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Pre‑plan major work activities with superintendents and field staff to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Monitor cost reports, labor budgets, and cash flow, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Negotiate with vendors, manage purchase orders, and approve invoices.
- Ensure contract compliance and resolve constructability or legal issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of experience, or 11+ years equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage large construction projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.

Combination of office and construction site environments with exposure to varying weather. Routine use of office and site equipment.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands/arms for tools and materials.
