Registered Nurse - Private Skilled at Bright Star Care of Fredericksburg & Springfield

Location:

Fredericksburg, VA

• High-tech skilled nursing case
• Shift: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (unless additional hours are requested)
• Fridays and weekends: one month on / one month off rotation
• Rotation changes every 30 days
• PRN (as needed) availability encouraged

• Providing skilled nursing assessment care in a home setting
• Daily documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
• Medication management
• G‑Tube utilization, care, and maintenance
• Work closely with the care team
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly
• Accurate documentation and care coordination
• Ensuring compliance with physician orders and individualized care plans
• Utilize assistive devices (wheelchairs, communication devices, mobility aids)

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia or multi‑state
• Experience with high‑tech or skilled nursing cases preferred
• Proven competency with G‑tube medication administration
• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a one‑on‑one care environment
• Must successfully pass an extensive background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Clean driving record required
