Experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) needed for a locum tenens anesthesia job in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Join a fast-paced surgical team providing high-acuity anesthesia care across a broad case mix, with competitive weekly pay and a schedule that offers flexibility.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,930 – $5,750
• Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week; call approximately once every 8 weeks
• Setting: High-acuity anesthesia coverage with a wide variety of surgical specialties

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
• Board certification required
• At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ABLS
• Experience with complex anesthesia cases across multiple surgical specialties
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients and varied anesthesia techniques
• Virginia licensure or eligibility to practice as a CRNA in Virginia

• Provide anesthesia services for a broad mix of cases, including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, head and spine, neurosurgical, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures
• Deliver general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia as indicated
• Support trauma cases and other complex surgical volumes in a hospital-based anesthesia environment
• Perform pain management techniques, postoperative epidurals, and extremity blocks
• Assist with ventilation management and the evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Place central lines and PA catheters as needed
• Collaborate with the anesthesia team while maintaining strong independent clinical judgment
• Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care
