Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Level III NICU – Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center – Fredericksburg, VA
16‑Hour Shifts
• 7–8 Shifts/Month

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our expanding team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing NICU program committed to keeping families together — right in their own community.

Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists + 3 NNPs
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 24‑hour in‑house NNP coverage
- Work alongside Neonatologists during the day; overnight in‑house with 30‑minute physician call backup
- Attend deliveries and support a growing NICU service line
- Educate and mentor RN/RT teams as acuity and volume evolve
- Enjoy self‑scheduling with ~1,944 hours/year
- 8‑bed Level III NICU
- 10 LDR couplet care rooms
- Average daily census: 9–11 (NICU + Nursery)
- ~1,250 annual deliveries
- In‑house OB Hospitalists for seamless perinatal care
