Mowing Crew Leader

Pay: $18.00 - $23

REQUIRED:

1 Year of commercial lawn care crew leader experience and must be shown in resume. If your resume does not list a commercial landscape company that you have worked for as a crew leader for at least a year, that we can call and speak to, we will not move forward with the hiring process as the crew leader. You can still apply for the laborer position.

Responsibilities

· Work as crew leader to provide maintenance on our landscapes and lawns

· Operate a commercial mower and trimmer daily

· Assist with loading and unloading work truck, comply with company safety policies at all time

· Drive a truck and trailer

· Work well with others in a team environment and be helpful and courteous to customers

· Supervise crews in an efficient, polite and timely manner

· Speak with supervisor on quality of properties as well as feedback on crew members working under them

· Checking in and out of jobs on a scheduling app on your phone

· Duties also include but are not limited to digging holes, planting trees and shrubs, laying mulch and sod.

Requirements

· Must have a proper valid driver’s license (clean with MVR) and timely transportation to and from work

· Must be able to speak and understand English

· Reliable and dependable

· Desire to work in landscaping

· 1 year running a crew of 2 or more members is required (includes, driving a truck and trailer and running commercial mowing equipment.)

Physical Demands

· Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body

· Be able to reach overhead

· Be able to work in various standing and bending positions for extended periods of time

· Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks

· Ability to work outside all day

Miscellaneous

· 40 hours weekly during in season

· Paid weekly

· We require a drug free work place - all applicants offered a position maybe required to pass a pre-employment drug test before they are hired

Required experience:

· Commercial Lawn Care Experience as a crew leader: 1 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
