Job Description

As we continue to expand and innovate, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager who is passionate about providing quality dining experiences for our guests. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all culinary operations, supervision of the kitchen team, staff development, safety and sanitation. They ensure shifts run smoothly with a focus on quality and timely execution while addressing any unexpected challenges or emergencies.

Responsibilities also include staffing, scheduling, culinary financial goals, and team development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee services and busy periods at the pass, serving as the last set of eyes before food is delivered to guests.
  • Ensure food verandats through thorough line checks and consistent tasting/testing of food.
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and inventory processes.
  • Maintain food quality and safety standards across procurement, production, and service.
  • Focus on inventory and ordering, storage and rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation and production standards.
  • Achieve and exceed written budgets using kitchen systems, schedules, tools, and plaintext procedures.
  • Lead the people management function—recruit, select, orient, and train team members to meet or exceed company‑specified criteria.
  • Handle all scheduling aspects and forecast business needs for busy and slow periods.
  • Build and maintain morale by fostering a respectful and professional environment.
  • Collaborate with management to develop employees for leadership roles and address any concerns promptly.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Graduate of ब accredited hospitality management program or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of F&B management experience.
  • Understanding of operational excellence.
  • Required state alcohol certification and Manager Serv Safe certification.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, weekends with increased hours during peak times.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Comfortable around flashing lights & loud noise.
  • Ability to work in a kitchen and restaurant environment.
