As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols to help deter security‑related incidents.

Mon 03:00 PM – 01:15 AM
Sat 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help deter unauthorized access and security‑related incidents.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by explaining access control procedures and responding to inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to observe for security‑related concerns and report irregularities.
• Document all access control activities, observations, and incidents using Allied Universal and client systems as required.
• Follow site‑specific policies and procedures, adapting to changes in working environments and conditions as necessary.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by client or Allied Universal management.

• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
